James and Abigail Campbell Library – LEED Gold

Overview

The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Library Building is located on the Âé¶¹´«Ã½West Oahu campus is a 60,000-square-foot building at the heart of the West Oʻahu campus. It features high ceilings and plentiful daylighting. The library includes facilities for students, faculty, and the public to study and socialize. The building also houses the ʻUluʻulu Archives, the Noʻeau Center, and IT services

The building earned the LEED Gold rating for integration of sustainable design elements such as providing daylight and views to 90% of spaces, using low-emitting materials, providing thermal and lighting comfort, and many more.
