Director, Energy Management

Miles Topping has been director of Energy Management at the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ since 2016, responsible for system-wide leadership, planning, development, coordination and implementation of a comprehensive strategic plan and program that supports the short and long range energy sustainability, carbon neutrality and "net zero" energy objectives for the University of Hawai'i.

The Director develops and implements policies, procedures and practices in collaboration with senior leaders to make the University a model in carbon neutrality and energy sustainability both in the State of Hawaii and among higher education institutions nationwide.

The initiatives will focus on all areas of energy sustainability including carbon neutrality, clean energy, energy efficiency and management, and renewable energy.
