In mid-April, SLS undergraduate advisor and coordinator Patrick Agullana was welcomed back to the After School All-Star program at Washington Middle School.
As this was the second visit to Washington Middle, everyone was eager to hear again from the SLS Department. The students participated in a Pidgin quiz, and learned about the origins of Pidgin and the importance of intercultural communication.
The SLS Department hopes to continue their visits with Washington Middle School All-Stars and look forward to the next visit. Mahalo again to site coordinator Hekili Keliiliki (Coach K), the teaching assistants, and the students at the Washington Middle School!
