Dr. Fukuda's research interests include theoretical and experimental syntax, lexical semantics, syntax-lexical semantics interface phenomena and their acquisition by different populations of speakers, and the syntax of the langauges in East Asia. He is currently serving as a series editor for 听and an associate editor for the Journal . Additionally, he is also the faculty coordinator for,听a virtual research lab at UHM for students and faculty members who approach theoretical and empirical issues in syntax and it interfaces with the other modules of grammar through experimental methods.
