Kawaha, Yoshida named KTA Superstars of the Week

UH Hilo women’s basketball player Mandi Kawaha and baseball player Bradyn Yoshida were named KTA Super Stores Superstars of the Week, February 8–21.

The UH 惭ā苍辞补 swimming and diving programs picked up a total of 98 All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honors.

UH Mānoa women’s tennis player Ana Vilcek earned her first Big West Player of the Week.

The three student-athletes recognized were Erik Borg, Mandi Kawaha and Bree Olson.

UH 惭ā苍辞补 softball players Mya'Liah Bethea and Key-Annah Campbell-Pua earned Big West weekly awards following the UNLV Desert Classic.

UH 惭ā苍辞补 volleyball player Spyros Chakas leads the team with a 4.29 kills per set average which ranks No. 5 nationally.

Public health studies Tarin Tanji and Saikaew Dudla presented their research at the American Public Health Association annual conference.

UH Hilo men’s basketball player Nadjrick Peat was named PacWest Defender of the Week.

UH Hilo softball player Trinity Favela and baseball player Casey Yamauchi were named KTA Super Stores Superstars of the Week, January 25–February 7.
