University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at Hilo¡¯s Ryan Cho was named National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Division II West Region Player of the Week for March 20–26.
The veteran first baseman had 10 hits in 15 at-bats for UH Hilo as the team won two out of three games against Â鶹´«Ã½ Pacific University, March 25–26. Cho scored six times in those three games, hit two doubles, a home run and drove in seven runs. He went 5 for 6 in the March 26 game including the homer. Cho is hitting a career-best .418 with eight doubles and does not have an error in 137 chances at first base.
