University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ player Gabrielle Doyle was named the recipient of the NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete award for the 2026 National Collegiate Women¡¯s Water Polo Championship.
Doyle, a business major with a 4.0 GPA, received the award on April 23 at the championship banquet in La Jolla.
The NCAA Elite Scholar-Athlete award recognizes competitors who excel at the highest level of their sport while maintaining the top academic standing among championship participants.
UH has earned the honor five times in women¡¯s water polo history, becoming the first program to win it three consecutive years.
Doyle is the fourth Rainbow Wahine player to receive the award, joining Amarens Genee, Taylor Molde and teammate Raha Peiravani.
