University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ tennis player Timothy Li earned Big West Player of the Week honors after going 2-0 in both singles and doubles in three road matches. This is Li¡¯s first career weekly award.
In UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹¡¯s Big West opener at UC Riverside, Li defeated Ivaylo Simeonov in straight sets on the No. 2 singles court. At Northern Arizona, Li paired with Kosuke Nakanishi to earn a 6-0 decision against Vincent Vohl and Takumi Katsuda in No. 1 doubles.
In a battle at Grand Canyon, Li and Nakanishi took down Daniel Jankoski and Brice Patoux in a tiebreaker in No. 1 doubles. Li also got the win in No. 2 singles in straight sets over Andreas Loizas.
