University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at Hilo player Victoria Macias landed the first PacWest Player of the Week award for 2025, on February 4, after a stellar performance at the Concordia Kickoff Classic. She batted .526 with 10 hits and eight RBI over the season-opening weekend.
The Vulcans went 2-3 in California, securing wins over Western Oregon and Sonoma State. Macias¡¯ highlight of the weekend was in a 16-13 victory against Sonoma State, where she went 4-for-5 with five RBI and two runs scored.
