For the first time in program history, the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at Hilo has landed in the top 25 at No. 21 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 National Rankings on September 17.
The Vulcans started the season strong with a three-game win streak, defeating Cal State Dominguez Hills, Chaminade and Â鶹´«Ã½Pacific University.
For the Week 2 poll, the Vulcans were the only team from the Pacific West Conference ranked in the top 25.
UH Hilo also moved up to No. 3 in the United Soccer Coaches West Region Rankings, a week after moving up five spots from its preseason ranking of No. 10.
