The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ is being recognized for academic excellence and student experience in the , released on September 21. About 800 of the nation¡¯s 2,700 four-year institutions were deemed eligible for the rankings. UH¡¯s flagship campus came in No. 244 overall and No. 49 in the west region.

The rankings were based on four categories:

  • Outcomes (graduation rate, value added to graduate salary, debt after graduation and academic reputation)
  • Resources (finance per student, faculty per student and research papers per faculty)
  • Engagement (student engagement, student recommendation, interaction with teachers and students and number of accredited programs)
  • Environment (proportion of international students, student diversity, student inclusion and staff diversity)

Data for the rankings came from a variety of sources, including government data, and student and academic surveys conducted by Times Higher Education.

UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ consistently ranked among the best

UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ is consistently ranked each year among the best national and international universities by the most prestigious ranking entities in higher education. The 2022 Wall Street Journal/Times Higher Education is the fourth ranking in September 2021 to note UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹’s academic excellence:
