Amplifying Peace: Talk Story with Bassel & the Supernaturals

Known for high-energy performances and story-driven programs that foster empathy, the internationally acclaimed band Bassel & The Supernaturals will share how their music and narratives are shaped by migration, belonging, and cross-cultural exchange. Led by first generation Syrian-American Bassel Almadani, the group made their national television debut in May 2024 as part of a new PBS docuseries starring Dule Hill entitled The Express Way, regarding the transformative power of the arts. Facilitated by Maya Soetoro and the Matsunaga Institute for Peace, this talk story aligns with the ensemble’s longstanding focus on education and meaningful community engagement. Free & Open to the Public - Register at the link below.
