Presented to the Mānoa Faculty Senate on behalf of the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) for a vote of the full Senate on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, a motion to endorse the JABSOM Faculty Senate resolution in support of the revised proposed reorganization proposal for the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM). Approved by the Mānoa Faculty Senate on September 21, 2016 with 44 votes in support; 2 votes opposed, and 5 abstentions.

FACULTY SENATE RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE REVISED PROPOSED REORGANIZATION PROPOSAL
FOR THE JOHN A. BURNS SCHOOL OF MEDICINE

A resolution was passed unanimously by the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) Faculty Senate on August 25, 2016. The JABSOM Faculty Senate is requesting that the Mānoa Faculty Senate endorse its call for support of the Revised Proposed Reorganization Proposal for the John A. Burns School of Medicine.

If approved by the Mānoa Faculty Senate, the JABSOM Resolution, along with the Mānoa Faculty Senate Motion to Endorse, will be transmitted to the Mānoa Interim Chancellor, to the President of the University of Hawai’i System, and the University of Hawai’i Board of Regents.
