Serving on the faculty senate let's me stay current on campus initiatives and keeps me involved and informed. Through senate, I also get to meet colleagues from across campus that I would otherwise never work with.

A unit or college with its own faculty senate of elected members may nominate one of its officers for the M膩noa Faculty Senate, provided that that officer is otherwise eligible for election. That officer will be considered to have been elected to the M膩noa Faculty Senate.
