A motion on the ツ鮓ケエォテスMト]oa grade replacement policy.ツ Approved by the Mト]oa Faculty Senate on May 9, 2018 with 48 votes in favor of support; 2 votes against support; and 6 abstentions.
MOTION ON THE ツ鮓ケエォテスMトNOA GRADE REPLACEMENT POLICY
WHEREAS, the ツ鮓ケエォテスMト]oa Grade Replacement Policy currently allows for students to utilize Grade Replacement without limitation as to number of times; and
WHEREAS, in 2011, the Mト]oa Faculty Senate passed a motion detailing a revised Grade Replacement Policy limiting students to utilizing the Grade Replacement Policy three times; and
WHEREAS, in 2012, after learning that Banner was not able to implement the policy as originally passed, the Mト]oa Faculty Senate passed an amended motion; and
WHEREAS, after investigation, Banner still appears unable to implement the Grade Replacement Policy as originally passed in 2011; and
THEREFORE, the Mト]oa Faculty Senate recommends extending the current Grade Replacement Policy, as amended in 2012, for one year and urges the ツ鮓ケエォテスMト]oa administration to implement the Grade Replacement Policy as originally passed in 2011.
