A motion on the 麻豆传媒M膩noa grade replacement policy.聽 Approved by the M膩noa Faculty Senate on May 9, 2018 with 48 votes in favor of support; 2 votes against support; and 6 abstentions.
MOTION ON THE 麻豆传媒M膧NOA GRADE REPLACEMENT POLICY
WHEREAS, the 麻豆传媒M膩noa Grade Replacement Policy currently allows for students to utilize Grade Replacement without limitation as to number of times; and
WHEREAS, in 2011, the M膩noa Faculty Senate passed a motion detailing a revised Grade Replacement Policy limiting students to utilizing the Grade Replacement Policy three times; and
WHEREAS, in 2012, after learning that Banner was not able to implement the policy as originally passed, the M膩noa Faculty Senate passed an amended motion; and
WHEREAS, after investigation, Banner still appears unable to implement the Grade Replacement Policy as originally passed in 2011; and
THEREFORE, the M膩noa Faculty Senate recommends extending the current Grade Replacement Policy, as amended in 2012, for one year and urges the 麻豆传媒M膩noa administration to implement the Grade Replacement Policy as originally passed in 2011.
