The proposal is to transfer the Office of Fire Safety currently under EHSO at M膩noa to the Office of Campus Operations and Facilities under the Office of the Vice President for Administration (OVPA). Additional internal reorganization of OVPA include moving various positions amongst existing groups within the OVPA’s office to increase efficiency.

Presented to the M膩noa Faculty Senate by the Committee on Administration and Budget for a vote of the full Senate on Wednesday, October 17, 2018.聽 A motion endorsing, with reservations, the proposed reorganization of the Office of Human Resources.聽 Approved by the M膩noa Faculty Senate on October 17, 2018 with 38 votes in support of approval; 14 votes against; and 2 votes in abstention.

MOTION ENDORSING WITH RESERVATIONS THE PROPOSED REORGANIZATION OF
THE 麻豆传媒OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES

The Committee on Administration and Budget of the M膩noa Faculty Senate has reviewed the proposed reorganization of the 麻豆传媒System Office of Human Resources to incorporate and consolidate the 麻豆传媒M膩noa Office of Human Resources into its office.聽 The original proposal was first received by the M膩noa Faculty Senate and reviewed by CAB in March 2018.聽 After discussions with CAB the 麻豆传媒System Administration withdrew the proposal for revision.聽 The M膩noa Faculty Senate received a revised version of the proposal in September 2018 and referred the reorganization to the Committee on Administration and Budget.

The Committee on Administration and Budget reviewed the proposed reorganization and met with 麻豆传媒System HR personnel on September 12, 2018.聽 Following discussion and review, the Committee on Administration and Budget wishes to present this motion to ENDORSE WITH RESERVATIONS the proposed reorganization.聽 The concerns of the committee are that key performance indicators and a timeline for evaluation of the reorganization were not included in the proposal.
