5 Vulcans earn national academic honors

Five UH Hilo men’s basketball student-athletes were named to the 2023–24 National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court.

The Rainbow Warrior men’s volleyball team and the Rainbow Wahine beach team earned AVCA Team Academic Awards.

The competition provides students with valuable hands-on experience in the rapidly evolving field of drone technology.

UH Hilo posted a 3.284 combined GPA for the 2023–24 school year, a new Vulcan high.

The Rainbow Warriors earned recognition from the National Association of Basketball Coaches for their achievements in the classroom.

The trio was among 1,497 women’s collegiate golfers recognized for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.
