Vulcans student-athletes set new academic record

UH Hilo posted a 3.284 combined GPA for the 2023–24 school year, a new Vulcan high.

The Rainbow Warriors earned recognition from the National Association of Basketball Coaches for their achievements in the classroom.

The trio was among 1,497 women’s collegiate golfers recognized for achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher.

UH Mānoa beach volleyball player Sabrina Hardisty has held numerous leadership positions throughout her time at the university.

Turban is just the second Rainbow Wahine track and field athlete to earn Academic All-America honors and the first since 2009.

It has been more than 50 years since UH has had a basketball Olympian.

The track and field team had the most honorees with 18 followed by softball (13), baseball (12) and water polo (10).

Nine UH 惭ā苍辞补 swimming and diving teams members earned recognition on the CSCAA Scholar-America Team for the 2023–24 season.

The Rainbow Wahine earned the Scholar All-America Award from the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association.

Nicholas Gomez, Kailey Oki, Elle Otani and Isabella Ranches earned CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team honors.
