4 Vulcans golfers earn academic honors

Nicholas Gomez, Kailey Oki, Elle Otani and Isabella Ranches earned CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team honors.

UH Hilo softball player Chenoa Cainglit and golfer Dylan Bercan were named the KTA Super Stores Superstars for May.

UH Hilo baseball players James Yamasaki, Mason Cook and Arthur Soto garnered College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team honors.

UH Hilo made a big jump from seventh place in 2022–23 to fifth place in 2023–24.

A program-record five members of the UH water polo team received recognition on the ACWPC All-America teams for the 2024 season.
