Campus visits postponed for UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ nursing dean search process

Charles “Chip” Fletcher has been selected by UH Mānoa Provost Michael Bruno as interim dean, effective January 1, 2022.
Review of applications will begin in October 2021 and will continue until the position is filled.
UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ officially begun the search to find the next dean and The Queen¡¯s Health Systems endowed professorship for the Nancy Atmospera-Walch School of Nursing.
The start date for the both leadership positions will be determined based on the availability of the selectees.
UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ is proceeding with the recruitment of: head of Enrollment Management, directors of the Institute for Astronomy and Hawai?i Institute for Marine Biology, and dean of the School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene.
Kenneth Chambers, Laura Ferrarese and Douglas Simons are the three finalists for IfA director.
Leonard R. Gouveia, Jr. currently serves as the director of the Office of Research Services.
The search process will convene over the summer with the anticipated start date for the new dean in spring 2021.
Daisy was most recently president and CEO of the College of Micronesia-Federated States of Micronesia, a role in which he has served since 2012.
