Chakas earns second Big West volleyball player of the week award

UH 惭ā苍辞补 volleyball player Spyros Chakas leads the team with a 4.29 kills per set average which ranks No. 5 nationally.

McMackin compiled a 29-25 head coaching record with UH and led the Rainbow Warriors to a pair of Sheraton 麻豆传媒 Bowl appearances in 2008 and 2010.

McGill was a starting offensive lineman for the 1992 WAC and Holiday Bowl Champion Football Team.

UH Hilo women’s basketball player Mandi Kawaha was named PacWest Player of the Week

UH Hilo men’s basketball player Nadjrick Peat was named PacWest Defender of the Week.

UH Hilo softball player Trinity Favela and baseball player Casey Yamauchi were named KTA Super Stores Superstars of the Week, January 25–February 7.

Dimitrios Mouchlias and Guilherme Voss earned Player of the Week and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively.

The Rainbow Warriors extended their overall win streak to 18 matches.

Lau will receive her award during the men’s basketball game on February 11 at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

The Vulcans defeated Holy Names University, 82-68, to claim a spot in the six-team postseason conference tournament.
