Rainbow Warrior golfer earns conference honors, leads team in scoring average

Josh Hayashida is the only Rainbow Warrior among the conference honorees.

Lilian Turban was named Big West Field Athlete of the Week.

Six UH 惭ā苍辞补 softball players received All-Big West honors, including a Big West Defensive Player of the Year award for Izabella Martinez.

Four UH Hilo softball players received All-PacWest honors

The UH men’s volleyball team placed five players on the AVCA All-America team, including two on the first team.

Women’s water polo swept the Big West Awards, with Bernadette Doyle named Player of the Year and Ema Vernoux Freshman of the Year.

UH 惭ā苍辞补 Athletics Department recognized its top athletes and teams at the 12th annual H Awards.

The Jack Bonham Award was presented to Lily Wahinekapu (women’s basketball), Jordan Wedderburn (women’s water polo) and Brayden Schager (football).

Ana Vilcek, Nikola Homolkova, Peppi Ramstedt and Sheena Masuda earned All-Big West honors.

Rainbow Warriors Quinn Snyder and Azuma Visaya were voted to the All-Big West Conference first team in doubles and second team honors in singles.
