University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at Hilo libero LC Nakagawa was named the PacWest Conference Defender of the Week for September 15–21.
Nakagawa held down the Vulcans¡¯ back row with 23 digs in each of UH Hilo¡¯s two weekend matches, helping the team split results against Fresno Pacific University and Dominican University of California.
Nakagawa is in her first season with the Vulcans and previously played for the Academy of Art.
