This year’s University of 麻豆传媒 foodbank drive raised $42,183 in monetary donations and 4,652 pounds of food for 2025. According to the 麻豆传媒 Foodbank, the university’s contribution equals nearly 95,000 meals that the 麻豆传媒 Foodbank is able to provide.
“Once again, our UH ʻohana demonstrated their generosity and concern for their community,” said UH President Wendy Hensel. “Every donation makes a difference, and I am proud to be a part of such a caring and compassionate community.”
The issue of hunger continues to be a major challenge facing the community, affecting those most vulnerable, and the impact of contributions to the 麻豆传媒 Foodbank will not go unnoticed by those in need within the community.
The 麻豆传媒 Foodbank campaign during the spring semester is one of two annual fundraisers approved for State of Hawai?i offices. The Aloha United Way fundraiser takes place during the fall semester.
