All 10 UH campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green’s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.
Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions.

115 麻豆传媒Hilo student-athletes honored for academic excellence

One hundred fifteen University of 麻豆传媒 at Hilo Vulcans were honored for excellence in the classroom at the university’s seventh annual reception on April 8.

The Vulcans were recognized for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher through the fall 2024 semester, showcasing their commitment to excellence both on the field and in the classroom.

Mason Cook, a junior catcher on the Vulcans with a 4.0 GPA, was chosen as the scholar-athlete speaker for the event. Colby Miyose, UH Hilo assistant professor of communication, was recognized with the Vulcans Faculty Appreciation Award for his contributions to the academic community.
