University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at Mānoa attacker Bernadette Doyle has been named the Big West Player of the Week for the second time this season on March 19, after helping the Rainbow Wahine pull out a dramatic conference win over Long Beach State on March 15.
Doyle scored a hat trick and the game-winning goal in overtime during Â鶹´«Ã½’s 9-8 win over the Beach at Duke Kahanamoku Aquatic Complex. This honor makes her the third UH player to win it this season.
She broke a 3-3 tie with her first goal, then contributed a steal and score in the first overtime. Doyle sealed the win with a golden goal just 25 seconds into sudden death. She finished with three goals on five shots, an assist, three exclusions drawn, a steal and two field blocks.
