University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at Mānoa senior Bernadette Doyle was among 20 student-athletes named to the Cutino Award Watch List in an announcement from USA Water Polo, The Olympic Club and the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches.

Doyle, an attacker, enters the week second on the team with 55 total points with 34 goals and 21 assists. She also leads the third-ranked Rainbow Wahine with 29 steals and nine field blocks.

Doyle has scored at least three goals in eight matches this season, with a high of five in a win over UC Santa Barbara. Her strong performances helped elevate the team to No. 3 in the national rankings. She was named Big West Player of the Week after scoring a hat trick and the golden goal in an overtime win against No. 6 Long Beach State.

The Peter J. Cutino Award, named in honor of the late Hall of Fame coach, recognizes the best player in men’s and women’s college water polo.
