Twelve student-athletes from the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at Hilo soccer teams—six and six —have been named to the 2024 Men¡¯s and Women¡¯s Soccer Academic All-District Team, as selected by members of College Sports Communicators (CSC). This recognition honors the district¡¯s top student-athletes for their outstanding achievements both on the field and in the classroom.

To qualify, students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5 and have sophomore standing or above. Eligible students must have competed in 90% of the institution¡¯s games played or have started in at least 66% of total matches.
Hamada, Graneld, Arakawa and Padron were also selected for Academic All-America consideration, which members of CSC will vote on and announce in December.
