The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ is among the top 400 universities in the country according to a . The flagship campus of the UH 10-campus system was selected out of

placed No. 160 among and No. 330 overall.

The ranking was based on:

  • Student outcomes (70%): Salary impact versus similar colleges (33%), years to pay off net price (17%) and graduation rate versus similar colleges (20%).
  • Learning environment (20%): Learning opportunities (5%), preparation for career (5%), learning facilities (5%) and recommendation score (5%).
  • Diversity (10%): Opportunities to interact with students from different backgrounds (5%), ethnic diversity (1.5%), inclusion of students with lower family earnings (1.5%), inclusion of students with disabilities (1%) and international diversity (1%).

UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ ranked highest in diversity, learning facilities and learning opportunities.

WSJ rankings were based on the findings of an online survey of 60,953 students and alumni between January and May 2023. In addition, data was collected from the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Census Bureau. The WSJ/College Pulse 2024 Best Colleges in the U.S. ranking was developed and executed in collaboration with College Pulse and Statista.
