All 10 UH campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green¡¯s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.
Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions.

Although they may not have had the commencement ceremony they imagined, the University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at Mānoa¡¯s class of 2020 joins a network of more than 190,000 proud UH Mānoa alumni worldwide. In lieu of an in-person celebration, the called on a handful of fellow alumni to help congratulate the class of 2020 and welcome graduates to the UH alumni ʻohana—virtually.

Alumni offered heartfelt congratulations, words of wisdom and encouragement as graduates prepare to embark on their next journey.

“I know this is not the way you wanted your year to end up,” said Larry Beil. “But know this; No matter where you go, no matter what you do, UH and Âé¶¹´«Ã½ will always be in your heart.”

“As a fellow University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ graduate, congratulations to each of you in the class of 2020,” said Senator Mazie Hirono. “This is a graduation that you will never forget in the midst of a world pandemic. My hope is that you will take your hard-earned degrees and make a difference for the better.”
