faculty, students and staff shared their cutting-edge research and love of science with students kindergarten through high school and the community at the (SOEST) Open House on the ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ campus October 25 and 26.
The 15th biennial event attracted more than 6,000 participants who explored nearly 80 exhibits, many of which included hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, videos, laboratory tours, state-of-the art computer animation and high-tech equipment displays.
In addition to UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ faculty, staff, and students, organizations such as the , Schmidt Ocean Institute, State of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Division of Aquatic Resources, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration participated in the event that was free and open to the public.
