The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ presents the on four consecutive Sundays in July at the UH ²Ñ¨¡²Ô´Ç²¹ Art Auditorium. In its 13th year, this summer event offers family-friendly films from around the world.

The festival will showcase animation and live-action shorts suitable for ages 3 and older. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. The program starts at 3 p.m. with door prizes followed by the screening.

KIDS FIRST! opens on July 7, with an all-animation program including television favorites and independent films geared to children ages 3 and older. The July 14 award-winning films, selected for keiki ages 5 and above, span the globe from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa, Singapore, United Kingdom and the U.S.

The event on July 21, intended for ages 8 and older, will feature films about puppies, cats, fish and horses as well as stories about human adventures. Finally, on July 28, the screening is for a variety of ages and focuses on empowered youth who are making a difference in the world they will inherit.
