Renowned real estate developer Jack E. Myers highlights the inaugural Real Estate Lecture Series on April 20, 6 p.m., at the Waiʻalae Country Club.
As chairman and CEO of the located in San Francisco, Myers has developed an extensive portfolio of commercial, residential, hospitality and industrial properties in Â鶹´«Ã½ and California valued at over $1.7 billion. Since 1974, Myers has played a large role in helping to shape Honolulu’s skyline with such iconic buildings as the First Hawaiian Center, Â鶹´«Ã½ Prince Hotel, Waikīkī Trade Center and One Archer Lane to name a few.
He is a 1970 graduate of the University of Â鶹´«Ã½ at Mānoa Shidler College of Business and a 1998 inductee into the college’s Hall of Honor.
A. Kam Napier, editor-in-chief of will moderate the discussion. Pacific Business News is the media partner for the event. The event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Real Estate Lecture Series will address issues and trends in the real estate industry in Â鶹´«Ã½ and beyond, and provide practitioners the opportunity to learn and network with like-minded professionals.
The lecture series is made possible thanks to a generous donation from president and CEO Eddie Flores Jr. and his wife Elaine. Eddie also founded the Eddie Flores Real Estate School and Sun Pacific Realty. He has been active in the real estate industry for many decades and was named the Educator of the Year by Â鶹´«Ã½ Association of Realtors in 1991.
