Eddie Palmieri leads the renowned Eddia Palmieri/Brian Lynch Quartet

The University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at Mānoa’s invites the public to the 5th annual Mānoa Jazz and Heritage Festival on October 6, 6 p.m. at Andrews Ampitheatre. Enjoy an evening of music from the best local professional and educational jazz groups paired with this year’s featured guest artist, the Eddie Palmieri-Brian Lynch Quartet.

In an unprecedented small group setting for “The Sun Of Latin Music” Palmieri, the quartet is the latest manifestation of the 20-plus-year musical relationship between Lynch and Palmieri and their collaboration for their Grammy Award winning CD The Brian Lynch/Eddie Palmieri Project: Simptico. Two of the most accomplished musicians around today, Lynch and Palimieri are accompanied by bassist Luques Curtis and Grammy nominated drummer/composer Dafnis Prieto.

The Mānoa Jazz and Heritage Festival is a University of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ at Mānoa Outreach College production and part of a Performing Arts Presenters of Âé¶¹´«Ã½ tour sponsored in part by Baus Engineering and the Mānoa Arts and Minds Series, with funding provided by the City and County of Honolulu, Âé¶¹´«Ã½ Tourism Authority and the Âé¶¹´«Ã½ State Foundation on Culture and the Arts.
