All 10 UH campuses will be closed Monday, August 17. The closure follows Gov. Josh Green¡¯s announcement that state, county offices and public schools will be closed Monday due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Lala.
Students and employees should look for campus-specific messages with additional information on operations, employee reporting and any other exceptions.

Donna Vuchinich

Donna Vuchinich, president and CEO of the , has been selected to serve as a member of the National Committee for Institutionally Related Foundations. This is a three-year term that began July 1, 2012.

“Donna’s appointment to the reflects the high level of national recognition she has garnered,” said Kuhio Asam, chair of the UH Foundation . “This represents an important acknowledgment of Donna’s noteworthy successes in raising funds, the high level of expertise that she is able to offer to others and the exceptional quality of her leadership.”

Vuchinich joined UH Foundation in September 2002 as vice president for development and was appointed president and CEO in June 2004, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the public university fundraising environment to the foundation. In this role, she spearheaded the successful Centennial Campaign that raised $336 million for the .

Previously, she served in administrative and leadership positions with and the . She also has experience from the private sector, where she worked in banking and medicine.
