The Spectrum Scholarship Program is a highly competitive national initiative designed to support and recruit students from historically underrepresented racial and ethnic backgrounds as they pursue graduate degrees in librarianship. As a Spectrum Scholar, Mary will receive financial assistance for her graduate studies as well as professional development, networking, and mentoring opportunities through the ALA Spectrum Leadership Institute.
