On March 23, 2018, the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) launched the SEVP Portal. The portal is a tool that F-1 students on post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) can use to report changes to their home address, telephone number and employer information directly to their F-1 record.
SEVP will send instructions on creating a portal account to a student¡¯s Â鶹´«Ã½email address. Students currently on OPT or STEM OPT will be emailed on March 23. Students applying for OPT will be emailed on the start date of their OPT if it has been approved.
