In this episode of Hawai'i Sea Grant's Voice of the Sea television series, we are in Lāhainā, Maui with scientists monitoring the health and recovery of nearshore waters, corals, and ecosystem since the wildfire tragedy of 2023. We talk with coral experts, microbiologists, and chemical oceanographers about the research team, how they do their work, and the results they have found so far. Then we head to the marine innovation laboratory at 鶹ýԴDz to see how student-built equipment is changing how we test our waters.
