Hirano Cancer CARE Community event: “Healing Through Art†Saturday, July 18 | 9-11 a.m. Sullivan Conference Center, Â鶹´«Ã½Cancer Center Public welcome; free admission Explore a variety of therapeutic methods, such as visual art, music, and haiku reflection/meditation. Such creative modalities can significantly improve the quality of life for cancer survivors by reducing anxiety, depression and stress, while strengthening self expression, and the processing of complex emotions surrounding cancer diagnosis and treatment.
