Applications are being accepted for the EL3vate 2026-27 cohort. EL3vate, which stands for Experiential Learning, Engineering Design, & Entrepreneurship in Education (via Accelerating Teaching Excellence) is a unique, year-long professional development initiative designed to help faculty incorporate experiential learning, entrepreneurial frameworks, and engineering design thinking, and emerging technologies (including AI) into course curricula. Faculty will meet synchronously in three phases, starting in July 2026 and ending in May 2027. Faculty will gain access to: Collaborative opportunities with industry and community partners; Practical tools to integrate innovative teaching methods, including educational technology (edtech) and AI tools; and a supportive network of forward-thinking educators and experts. The deadline to apply online is May 10, 2026. This program is developed in collaboration with the 鶹ýOnline Innovation Center (UHOIC), the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship (PACE) at the University of Hawaiʻi at ԴDz’s Shidler College of Business, and the Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB).
