These panelists will share their connection to lei-making practices, using lāʻau (plants), pūpū (shells), and hulu (feathers). Lei to these panelists is more than an aesthetic and a non-Hawaiian holiday; it's a way to connect to ʻāina (land), ʻōlelo (language), and moʻomeheu (culture). Join NHSS as we listen and learn about these different perspectives of what lei means in our time.
