Celebrating Local Artists: An Evening in Two Parts

PART 1: Join us in celebrating some of our longstanding artists in the Statewide Cultural Extension Program, as we approach the 55th year of SCEP! Designed for all ages, this first part of evening highlights the broad range of arts programming that SCEP provides to libraries, schools, and community centers across the state. / PART 2: The “Art in Dialogue” incubator brought together a cohort of local artists across disciplines. Co-facilitated by SheenRu Yong and Michelle Huynh, this incubator has been a collaborative space to deepen artistic process through shared reflection, intentional experimentation, as well as communal, artist-led feedback. Come support and offer your feedback to our amazing artists! / Come when you can, leave when you must! Bringing your own picnic dinner is encouraged, light pupus and drinks will also be provided. Bring your own seating or blanket for the outdoor SCEP showcase at 5pm, and then head inside for the Incubator Sharing at 7pm. Free admission! Pay what you can!
