The webinar explores applied research methods on the topic of political ecology and critical environment studies, drawing upon firsthand experiences from the Henry Luce funded field school conducted in Thailand and Indonesia, highlighting the complex interactions between ecological systems, political structures, and local communities. Through these examples, the webinar aims to illustrate how grounded, context-sensitive research can contribute to a deeper understanding of environmental challenges and inform more equitable and sustainable research approaches.
