We are thrilled to welcome Matt Regua, a world-class percussionist, educator, and performer, for a special guest appearance. Matt has been an instructor with the seven-time world champion RCC Indoor Percussion Ensemble since 2011 and brings decades of elite performance experience. A former member of Pacific Crest (2003–2005) and Blue Devils A Corps (2006–2007)—including an international tour to Japan—Matt also performed with RCC (2005–2009) and at renowned venues such as Top Secret Drum Corps (Switzerland), Universal Studios Japan, SeaWorld, and Disneyland. In 2016, Matt co-founded Percussion IQ, dedicated to innovative and practical percussion education, and now serves as COO of Sidle Entertainment, overseeing professional drumlines for the LA Chargers, LA Kings, and LA Dodgers. Outside of music, Matt holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona and works in the medical device industry. Join us for this exciting event as Matt shares his expertise in performance, education, and “drumming smart.” Expect an inspiring session featuring guest performances, engaging percussion repertoire, and valuable insights from one of the most dynamic figures in the marching arts.
