Training on <\/strong>Sex Discrimination & Sex-Based Violence<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Federal and Â鶹´«Ã½ State Law require that all University of Â鶹´«Ã½ students and employees be provided training on sexual harassment<\/a>, sexual assault<\/a>, dating and domestic violence<\/a> (intimate partner violence), and stalking, including University policies and procedures for identifying and reporting these behaviors and the rights of everyone affected.<\/p>\n

Employees likely to witness or receive reports of sexual harassment and sexual violence should receive enhanced training which, at a minimum, includes the requirements of Title IX<\/a> and University Policy EP 1.204<\/a>, the proper method for reporting sexual harassment and sexual violence, and the University’s responsibilities for responding to such reports.<\/p>\n

Employees must receive Title IX & EP 1.204 training from Â鶹´«Ã½every year.<\/strong> New employees are required to complete a Title IX training within 30 days of hire.<\/p>\n

Â鶹´«Ã½provides all Students with Title IX & EP 1.204 training.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

The Â鶹´«Ã½Office of Institutional Equity<\/a> is providing Vector Solutions online training programs<\/u><\/a> for this purpose. Campus Title IX Coordinators and the Office of Institutional Equity also provide live\/in-person training<\/u><\/a>, some of which also satisfy training requirements.<\/p>\n
