Strengthening Kapi?olani¡¯s Campus and Culture for Student Success: Kauhale Ke Kuleana, the Responsibility of the Whole Village
This project proposes to provide an environment conducive for student success through one project activity; targeted renovations to create a campus culture of success which advances research-based high impact student support and teaching practices, improved evaluation systems, and fiscal stability. The activity will address 5 institutional goals and 21 performance measures through 3 major component objectives:
- Create Student Success Campus Renovations;
- Strengthen Assessment, Evaluation and Improvement Systems; and
- Improve Fiscal Stability.
This seeks to improve student support services through professional development of current faculty, counselors, and staff, and hire new personnel to focus on health and wellness, and place-and community based service and undergraduate research for Native Hawaiian students.
