Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) Center Renovation
The College renovated existing physical science space consisting of 4 lecture/laboratory rooms to create a STEM Center in the Kokio science building and incorporate distance learning technology and interactive media to provide a comprehensive pre-engineering program to students at the college, on Oʻahu, and to our neighbor island students. The renovations enable the Math/Science departments to better deliver current and technology integrated Science curricula, best practice pedagogies, and peer supports for enhanced Native Hawaiian student success in 21st Century careers in STEM fields.
