\"photoCongratulations to SLS Alumna Peggy Kang<\/strong>, who recently completed an English Language Fellowship in Cameroon with the U.S. Department of State, from 2016-2018.\u00a0 Peggy\u2019s primary job during her fellowship was to provide English language instruction to university students in medicine, engineering, and computer science at\u00a0Universit\u00e9 des Montagnes<\/em>.\u00a0 In addition, she collaborated with the U.S. Embassy in Yaound\u00e9 on English language outreach activities, and traveled to Addis Ababa, Bangui, Dakar, and Zanzibar to facilitate workshops during her fellowship.\u00a0 She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Lesotho from 2011-2013.\u00a0 Peggy is an alumna of both the Second Language Studies B.A. and M.A. program.<\/p>\n
