From May 24-26th, SLS faculty Dr. Isbell will present a plenary at the PanSIG 2024 conference at the Fukui University of Technology in Japan.<\/p>\n

His topic is on Hype and High-Tech Language Tests: Staying Grounded with Language Assessment Fundamentals<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In this talk, Dr. Isbell will discuss what information to look for and expect from test developers and technology providers. By reaffirming assessment fundamentals, teachers can cut through the hype and develop a grounded perspective on high-tech assessments.<\/p>\n
