UH Regents Policy 5.201, Instructional Programs:

• requires a comprehensive review of all established programs at a minimum of once every seventh year at UH 惭ā苍辞补, UH Hilo, and UH West O?ahu and a minimum of once every fifth year at the 麻豆传媒Community Colleges, unless otherwise stipulated by the Board.
• requires the University to provide the Board with an annual report on programs with a low number of degrees/certificates of achievement, a task which is carried out by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Strategy (OVPAS).
• requires the University to provide the Board with an annual report of program reviews (of established programs) conducted within the last year, a task which is carried out by the OVPAS.
• requires the University to provide the Board with an annual report on all terminated programs, a task which is carried out by the OVPAS.

additionally:

• charges the Chancellors of the four-year institutions and the Vice President for Community Colleges (for the UHCC campuses) to develop the program review procedures and schedules for their campuses.
• calls for each campus to archive its program reviews and furnish upon request.
• calls for the Office of the President to annually report stop-outs of established programs.
